ICE CHECK
Ice Check is an app that was born from the meme "Sorry, our ice cream machine is out of order".
My client, Raina McLeod came up with the idea after constantly having to go home emtpy handed due to a broken ice cream machine.
The app displays the McDonald's that are serving ice cream that are close to the users location. It is community based, so if you happen to come across a working or broken ice cream machine, you can notify other users right from the app.
I was glad to hear back in November of 2017 that the app went viral. It appeared on TIME, BuzzFeed, LifeHacker and even the Late Night Show with Seth Meyers. Watch the video below.
